Dragon about antivirus scanning and multithreaded CPUs

#1 Post by palmboy5 »

anyway... im pretty annoyed by how everything flickers when AVG is scanning, before i check if its just a lil annoying bug with AVG taking a little too much CPU load. im just wondering if AVG does that on ur 3.0C?
For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.

About AVG, it never picks everything up for me, and I always update. Sometimes I install the free trial of Norton because of the shit AVG misses.

It's not often though.

AVG gets like 54% of the test viruses.
try Bitdefender(88%), they have a free one.

WOAH WTF?

I just went to download BitDefender, a 9MB file...

7MB downloaded in less than a second. Sweet bandwidth leak there! Adelphia leaks bandwidth all the time, I love it. :)

Woah, Kaspersky is rated number one. I always liked their shit, just always used Norton instead, until AVG came around, and now is leaving...
