Either way your dropping several hundred on the CPU and the mobo. And in our cases DDR2 ram... so add it up.

And it doesnt beat my opty 165 at enough of a margin for me to wana drop that much cash.

oh no, not immediate upgrade, of course not, our systems still own way too many others for that to be considered.. yet.

but when we're ready, itll be cheaper :] and there will be an established best "OCer"

Hells yea, except the second time around Ill be able to afford it alot better. And if I need to buy another processer due to a gay stepping I could easilydo it. And instead of worrying about ebaying off the one I have already I can build a second workstation PC with it.

yup my plan as well 2005, ill just use that bundled mobo that came with the CPU (nforce4 board ftw!!), a 256MB PC2100, some old PCI video card, Ultra X-Connect 500W, and some stuff i dont have spares, and make a lil system XD possibly the one ill bring with me to college or something, along with a lappy of course
