video/sound are not too important for this comp (no gaming or anythin), hd space is not important at all either cuz ill take a removable usb drive from here when i need it, jus need it to be a tolerable speed while doin homework/email/aim/winamp + dling and playin mp3s and movies
Hewlett Packard a1000y customized at $414 (doesnt include shippin)
EDIT, its $456 actually...
Operating System Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home Edition with SP2
Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) D 335 (2.8 GHz, 533MHz FSB)
Memory 256MB DDR-333MHz SDRAM (1x256 duh)
Hard Drive 40 GB 5400 rpm Ultra DMA Hard Drive
Primary CD/DVD Drive 48x max. CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive (48x32x16x48x)
Front Productivity Ports 9-in-1 card reader, 1 USB 2.0, 1 Firewire + WinDVD
Monitors HP vs15c 15" LCD Flat-Panel Monitor
Graphics Card Integrated Graphics
Sound Card Integrated 5.1 Capable Sound w/ front audio ports
hows this deal? can u find sumin similar for cheaper?

Its a decent deal... but you wont do much better then that unless you build it yourself. And even then you wouldnt for the fact windows costs 80 (home) - 120 (pro).
