Dragon, you're so fucking helpful I don't know what any of us would do without you. Just cos I love you so much, I want you to sign up
here and never have to work again, my gift to you. Also, I'd like to to eat a large handful of
these, they're good, I promise.

I really dont know if I even care to OC anymore... and yes I will be getting a CRT. I want to be able to play at 1600x1200 at most and an LCD that can do that would be alot more then I want to spend.
I may OC, but I doubt it... not unless I learn 100% more about it from now until feburary 06.

Thanks for the explanation, dickheads.
True, I may be able to "google" it, but a more direct answer to what the numbers mean and how they affect performance would help.

Well they are latencys, and as any online gamer knows that the lower the latency the better. I acutally myself have no idea about what exactly the numbers mean, but I do know that lower is better.
have a look at this also
http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware ... 55024.html
All of it is informative, but parts 9 and some of the FAQ are directly what your after.

of course you OC the RAM with the CPU, or why get low latency PC3200? ur not gonna OC?? O_O
all Athlon 64 cpus are multiplier locked for any number above its stock, so if its stock 11, u cant do 12, but u can do 10.. therefore the only option is to do FSB OCing

Well I wont be getting this compy on the projected time frame. My dad presented me with the option of takeing over the payments on his Chevy S-10 Blazer and I jumped on it. Its got under 100k miles (88 or something) and its 4WD. There are only six 150$ payments left to be made and I just cant pass the deal up. So there goes 900$ sooner then expected, but worth it... so what if I have to wait another month to get my rig.
