sharing a printer

can some one help me explain how i would share a printer

id have me and my roomates pc's runnin win xp pro connected to the universities network and internet... how would we share a printer (usb connectivity) between jus the 2 comps in our room

Yeah. I share a printer

But I have to manually configure all this bullshit because my router doesn't have a printer port.

Manny: Tip: If you want to share printers and do not have a router yet, GET ONE WITH A PRINTER PORT NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS! It's much better that way. You won't have to do all this crap.. lol

... or he has to leave his comp on and share his printer, after that you just need to install that printer

i could do that, but my comp would b locked in screen saver mode and can u jus plug two comps into the back of a printer or sumin
