Is there a way I can download service pack 2 without having to use auto-update or windows update? I tried to install it last night using windows update, it downloaded it, and when it was installing it said it couldn't copy the file atapi.sys. I opened Windows Explorer went to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and it was there. I clicked retry, it didn't work. Then I did what it said make a folder called Windows XP System Files, it wouldn't create it on it's own so I created it (C:\Windows XP System File), and clicked retry and it still didn't work, so I just cancelled it.

Yeah, I need to resize my Windows partition since I don't have enough space to install it, and I don't know if I want to, I've heard bad things so far. Two of my friends' computers don't work now.
Here to impress.

Order the cd free of charge but wait until they get all the bugs worked out before installing it:
